FAQ
Common questions
SaaS or self-hosted?
FlagOps will be cloud-hosted SaaS with data residency options. A self-hosted option is on the roadmap — waitlist members will help us prioritize it.
How is this different from LaunchDarkly or Flagsmith?
LaunchDarkly is enterprise-priced. Flagsmith and Unleash are powerful but require significant self-hosting work. FlagOps aims to be the middle ground: managed SaaS, simple pricing, built for teams of 2–50 engineers.
What languages / frameworks are supported?
We're building SDKs for Node.js, Python, Go, and React first. More will follow based on what waitlist members are actually using.
Will there be a free tier?
Yes — a free tier for small teams is planned. Waitlist members will get early input on what that looks like and will be grandfathered into favorable pricing.
